Fame & Fortune Barbershop is located adjacent to the stairs which connect Clay Ave to Webster Ave. Towards the other end of Clay Ave at 168th St. you will also find another set of stairs which lead to Teller Ave. Hundreds of people travel via these stairs daily for public transportation access; and they will tell you that not only are the stairs a work out, but they are a positive part of Bronx History. Many movie directors have used these stairs as part of hit movie scenes. These are the stairs featured in the movie New Jack City (1991) when Pookie (Chris Rock) was high tailing it on a bike down the stairs with Rapper/Actor Ice T in high pursuit starring as an undercover cop performing a typical buy and bust. These stairs were also used in the movie Fighting (2009), starring Terrance Howard and Channing Tatum.
